In June, Steven Bird visited the three participating universities to copy the audio recordings and to digitize the logbooks.  All materials have been deposited in the archive of the Institute of PNG Studies in Port Moresby.  After some further curation work, they will also be lodged with PARADISEC.  Narratives and songs were collected in many languages, including Alekano, Bena, Bimin, Haku, Kilivila, Mape, Mawake, Melpa, Miani, Motuna, Nakanai, Numbu, Sause, Siane, and Yabiufa.  Provinces covered include Central, Milne Bay, Eastern Highlands, Western Highlands, Madang, East Sepik, Bougainville, New Ireland, Manus, West New Britain, Sandaun.  Samples of the recorded materials will be posted on this website soon.
